GTN Brings Traffic Radio to the NEC
VISITORS AT THE NEC CAN NOW TUNE INTO THE HIGHWAYS AGENCY’S TRAFFIC RADIO ON 1386 AM FOR THE LATEST TRAFFIC NEWS
As of today (27 November 2008), visitors at The NEC in Birmingham will become the first in the country to be able to tune into the Highways Agency’s popular digital radio station “Traffic Radio” on 1386 AM.
The NEC is the first major venue in England where Traffic Radio is broadcast on an AM frequency. The service is broadcast around the clock, so will also be available whenever The NEC is hosting a large event.
Traffic Radio, which is also available on DAB digital radio and online at http://www.trafficradio.org.uk, lets road users hear the latest traffic conditions on motorways and major A roads in England as well as details about emergency incidents and roadworks.
