Hi, I’m Neal Veglio, and I’m your friendly neighbourhood eye in the sky!

I’m a local lad, too (can you still be a lad at 33?), having grown up in Didcot – just down the road from our base at Oxford Airport.

That’s not to say that I’m not a seasoned traveller, however. I’ve been all over the place! The last 12 months alone have found me in various parts of the US and I took a trip to Vienna not that long ago. GTN let me use the plane to basically go wherever I like (yeah, I wish!). One day, when I hang up my flight suit, I reckon I’ll retire to Canada.

Away from the mic, I’m a bit of a budding Jamie Oliver in the kitchen (or maybe my Italian roots make me more of a Giorgio Locatelli?). I also read (yes I can). The World According to Garp by John Irving is my favourite book

I’m also a major Simple Minds fan. I reckon their “30 Years Live” gig at Wembley was the greatest I’ve ever seen. I’m into a lot of 80’s music, in fact, but you can’t beat a bit of Linkin Park either!

I love watching F1, too. So I guess you could say that I’m not really into sport (or am I just being cynical?)!

Do I have any party tricks? Yes, but I can’t show you as it hurts if I don't drink plenty of water first.
