Global Traffic Network UK has added further to its team working on Traffic Radio.

Andy McColl joins from BBC Berkshire, where he built up the station’s Travel You Trust brand.  He’s also one of the best known travel voices in London, having worked on Heart 106.2, LBC and BBC London.

Sally Reader joins from GCap, where she was Plymouth Sounds breakfast presenter.

Both will work as Producers on the service for the Highways Agency, and will be based at GTN's existing airborne operations at Oxford and Plymouth Airports.

Will Jackson, GTN's Manager of Traffic Radio says "having two highly experienced producers working on Traffic Radio reflects our commitment to making sure the station sounds great at all times. I'm thrilled we've been able to get such high quality people who have vast experience of traffic reporting and share our love of radio."

Global Traffic Network Inc already provides customised traffic reports for free to affiliated commercial radio and TV stations across Australia and Canada in exchange for 10” spots of airtime inventory.  Global Traffic Network UK serves 12 commercial radio stations, and began supplying the Highways Agency’s Traffic Radio service on 1st July. Its management team in the UK consists of Paul Hutton (Managing Director), Kim Applegarth (Operations Director), Will Jackson (Traffic Radio Contract Manager), Anthony Rudd (Head of Radio) and Matt Jones (Senior Developer).
